Wood Industry Cluster (WIC) since 2000 connecting companies in industries of forestry, wood processing, furniture, chemistry and energy. WIC specializes in networking, promoting R & D activities, innovation, internationalization, a sector analysis, training and project management.  WIC works associated with the Association of wood and furniture industry at Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia, for which performs a range of operational activities. WIC collaborate with almost all institution in Forest-based sector in Slovenia. WIC were realized many internal project and participated in a number of international projects (FP6, FP7, EUREKA, ERA-Net, LDV etc.), some of them also co-ordinated. WIC also participates in several international networks (WoodWisdom, TCI, SCEnetFB Clusters, InnovaWood etc.).
